Seeds of Hope is a narrative focused piece that follows a mysterious character on a journey, in hopes of bringing colour back to the world. Building off of storybooks and the sense of adventure this character travels far and wide searching for the holed tree and its seeds. As a latino immigrant the current state of the world is very frightening. With no sense of accountability, the fear and anger feels hopeless with what feels like no way of truly making a difference. Living in a time with so much uncertainty, the ultimate goal of the piece is not to capture and show the reality we have all seen, but rather break that line and shine light through the cracks. This project stands to act as a sense of escape, inspiring and planting those seeds of hope in a time that feels hopeless.
